Why people use them

One simple strip. Multiple ways to use it.

Nose strips work externally by gently supporting the softer sides of the nose. They may make nasal breathing feel easier while being worn.

01

Sleep more comfortably

Support nasal airflow during the night without using a medicated decongestant.

02

Reduce nasal-based snoring

May help when restricted nasal airflow is contributing to snoring or mouth breathing.

03

Train with clearer airflow

Wear them during running, gym sessions, cycling, HYROX and team sport.

04

Drug-free support

The strips work mechanically from outside the nose and contain no active medication.

How to use nose strips

Clean. Position. Press. Breathe.

Correct skin preparation and placement make a major difference to adhesion and comfort.

How to apply On The Nose Co nasal strips
1
Clean your nose Remove oil, moisturiser, makeup, sweat and dirt using an oil-free cleanser or alcohol wipe.
2
Dry the skin completely The adhesive works best on clean, dry skin. Do not apply over skincare products.
3
Position above the nostril flare Centre the strip across the lower bridge, just above where the nostrils begin to widen.
4
Press firmly Press the centre and both ends for 10–15 seconds to activate the adhesive.
5
Remove gently Peel slowly from the edges. Warm water can make removal easier for sensitive skin.

Correct placement

Where should a nose strip sit?

The best position is across the lower bridge of the nose, just above the point where the nostrils begin to flare.

Too high

Above the nasal valve area

A strip placed too high may miss the softer nasal side walls and provide less noticeable support.

Just right

Above the nostril flare

Centre the strip across the lower bridge so both ends support the sides of the nose evenly.

Too low

Touching the nostrils

A strip placed too low may move more easily and may not stay securely attached.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before buying.

What do nose strips do?
Nose strips use flexible bands to gently lift the sides of the nose. This can support the nasal valve area and may make nasal airflow feel easier while the strip is being worn.
Do nose strips help with snoring?
Nose strips may help when nasal restriction or congestion is contributing to snoring. They may be less useful when snoring is mainly caused by vibration in the throat or tongue area.
Can I use nose strips for running or the gym?
Yes. Nose strips can be worn during running, weight training, cycling, HYROX, team sports and other exercise to support clearer-feeling nasal airflow.
Why is my nose strip not sticking?
The most common causes are oil, moisturiser, sweat, incorrect positioning or touching the adhesive. Clean and fully dry the skin, then press the strip firmly for 10–15 seconds.
Can nose strips be reused?
Traditional adhesive nose strips are single use. The magnetic bridge can be reused, but its adhesive side tabs must be replaced.
Can nose strips and mouth tape be used together?
They can be used together when nasal breathing is already clear and comfortable. Do not use mouth tape when your nose is blocked or breathing feels difficult.
Can nose strips treat sleep apnoea?
No. Nose strips are not a treatment for obstructive sleep apnoea and should not replace CPAP, medical assessment or treatment recommended by a healthcare professional.
How long can I wear a nose strip?
Nose strips can generally be worn through a full night or training session. Follow the instructions on the product packaging and remove the strip if irritation occurs.
