Nose Strips

What are nose strips?+

External nasal strips use flexible bands to gently lift the sides of the nose and support a more open nasal passage.

How do nose strips work?+

They create a gentle outward lift across the lower bridge of the nose, which may reduce resistance through the front of the nasal airway.

Do nose strips really work?+

Many people notice easier nasal breathing when a strip is positioned correctly. Results vary depending on anatomy and the cause of restriction.

How do I apply a nose strip?+

Clean and fully dry the nose, place the strip just above the nostril flare, then press the centre and ends firmly for 10–15 seconds.

Why is my strip not sticking?+

Skin oil, moisturiser, sweat, sunscreen, damp skin or incorrect placement can reduce adhesion. Apply only to clean, completely dry skin.

How long can I wear one?+

A strip is single-use and can generally be worn for up to 8–12 hours. Remove it sooner if irritation or discomfort occurs.

Can I reuse a disposable strip?+

No. Reuse reduces adhesion, hygiene and lifting performance.

How do I remove it gently?+

Wet the strip with warm water and peel slowly from both ends toward the centre.

Can I wear nose strips every night?+

Many customers do. Stop or take a break if your skin becomes irritated.

Can nose strips help a deviated septum?+

They cannot correct a deviated septum, but may improve comfort for some people by supporting the external nasal valve.

Can nose strips help allergies or hay fever?+

They do not treat allergies, but may make the front of the nose feel less restricted.

Can I use a nose strip with CPAP?+

Some people do, provided it does not interfere with the mask seal. Ask your sleep clinician if unsure.

02

Snoring & Sleep

Can nose strips stop snoring?+

They may reduce snoring when restricted nasal airflow contributes to the noise. They will not help every cause of snoring.

What causes snoring?+

Snoring occurs when upper-airway tissues vibrate during sleep. Congestion, back sleeping, alcohol, body weight, anatomy and sleep apnoea can contribute.

How quickly should I notice a difference?+

The mechanical lift begins immediately after application. Any change in snoring or comfort may be noticeable on the first night.

Do nose strips treat sleep apnoea?+

No. They do not treat obstructive sleep apnoea and must not replace CPAP, oral appliances or medical care.

When should I speak to a doctor about snoring?+

Seek advice for loud persistent snoring, choking, gasping, witnessed breathing pauses, morning headaches or daytime sleepiness.

Can side sleeping reduce snoring?+

It may help some people because back sleeping can allow the tongue and soft tissues to narrow the airway.

Why do I wake with a dry mouth?+

Dry mouth can be linked to mouth breathing, dehydration, medication, congestion or other health conditions.

Can I use nose strips for naps?+

Yes. Use a fresh strip on clean, dry skin.

03

Magnetic Nasal Strips

What are magnetic nasal strips?+

They use two single-use adhesive tabs and a reusable magnetic band that creates outward lift on the nasal sidewalls.

Which parts are reusable?+

The magnetic band is reusable. The adhesive tabs should be replaced after each wear.

How do I position the tabs?+

Place one tab on each side of the nose as shown in the product instructions so the band lifts evenly.

Can magnetic strips help snoring?+

They may help when restricted nasal airflow contributes to snoring, but they do not treat sleep apnoea.

Can I use them for running or gym?+

Yes. Apply the tabs before sweating and avoid skincare or sunscreen underneath them.

How do I clean the reusable band?+

Wipe it gently with a damp cloth and allow it to dry fully.

Are magnetic strips stronger than disposable strips?+

They use a different lifting system. The best choice depends on comfort, activity, skin type and personal preference.

Can I use them with a pacemaker?+

Because the product contains magnets, ask your doctor or device manufacturer before use.

04

Mouth Tape

What is Sleep Mouth Tape?+

It is a single-use adhesive strip with a central slit, designed as a gentle cue to discourage the lips from falling fully open during sleep.

How does mouth tape work?+

It supports the lips in a closed position and may encourage nasal breathing when the nose is already clear.

Is mouth taping safe for everyone?+

No. Do not use it when your nose is blocked, breathing is restricted, you feel nauseated, or after alcohol or sedating medication.

Why does it have a slit?+

The slit provides a small central opening. It does not make mouth tape suitable when nasal breathing is obstructed.

Can mouth tape reduce snoring?+

It may help selected adults whose snoring is linked to sleeping with the mouth open, but it will not address every cause.

Does mouth tape treat sleep apnoea?+

No. It must not replace CPAP or professional sleep-apnoea treatment.

Can I use it with a blocked nose?+

No. Only use mouth tape when nasal breathing is completely clear and comfortable.

How do I apply it?+

Clean and dry the skin, gently close the lips and apply as directed. Test it while awake before sleeping.

Can I use it with facial hair?+

Facial hair may reduce adhesion and make removal uncomfortable.

Can children use mouth tape?+

Not without direct advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

05

Running, Gym & Sport

Why do athletes wear nose strips?+

Athletes commonly use them to support nasal airflow and reduce the feeling of restriction during warm-ups, training and competition.

Do nose strips increase oxygen?+

They do not create oxygen. They may improve airflow comfort, but research does not show a guaranteed performance increase for everyone.

Can I wear them for running?+

Yes. Apply before sweating and press firmly onto clean, dry skin.

Can I use them for HYROX?+

Yes. Test them during training before race day.

Can I wear them for AFL, NRL or soccer?+

They may be used for many field sports, subject to competition rules and instructions from officials or medical staff.

Can cyclists and triathletes use them?+

Yes. Apply before sunscreen or sweat reaches the placement area.

Can I wear them for yoga or Pilates?+

Yes. Some people use them to make nasal breathing feel more comfortable during breath-focused exercise.

Will they stay on when I sweat?+

Adhesion depends on skin preparation, humidity, sweat and placement. Clean, dry skin gives the best result.

Should I try one for the first time on race day?+

No. Test it during several training sessions first.
